September is traditionally a common month for businesses to renew their energy contracts.

It also follows hot on the heels of the ‘back to school’ season that can prompt employees to review their own job situation and perhaps focus on new career opportunities.

So we’ve decided to make enhancing employee rewards the theme of our new energy contract deal this Autumn – offering you a seasonal win/win (even if your business gas or electricity contract is not yet due for renewal).

But first, before I tell you how you can claim a free £200 Amazon voucher and complimentary membership to a great employee rewards scheme, here’s why renewing your contract in good time is important for a number of reasons.

Allow more time to fix the best price

I probably don’t need to tell you the energy market can be volatile – with ongoing political uncertainties and Brexit, weather, supply, regulatory and other factors causing prices to increase or decrease in relatively short periods.

If you’re looking to fix your business’s gas or electricity contract, giving yourself enough time provides greater scope to choose a more opportune period to secure the best price.

Did you know, for example, that you can fix your future costs even if you have 12 months or longer to run on your existing energy contract?

Avoid the default trap

What’s more, now that the industry is no longer allowed to roll customers onto new contracts automatically, if you don’t renew in time, you’ll instead be transferred onto what’s called non-contracted ‘default’ rates.

Default rates tend to be higher than agreed contract rates, because they cover no set time period or volume (and you are free to leave at any time).

As a result, we cannot buy energy as cost effectively, as we cannot predict how much is needed or for how long.

We therefore invite you to contact us as soon as possible to find out what deal we can offer you.

Along with excellent service, where you’ll always speak to a member of our UK team within 20 seconds of calling, we also provide transparent pricing.

Our rates are continuously updated to accurately reflect market conditions. And we can offer a choice of contracts to suit your business requirements.

What’s more, as well as providing a deal that will hopefully keep your finance team happy, we’re also offering some extras to please the rest of your workforce.

Tangible rewards retain staff

When it comes to retaining staff, I’ve found that my team respond well to personal recognition of their efforts.

A public thank you, a celebratory drink or even a hand-written note all go down well.

Along with encouraging a culture that recognises success, more and more companies are also offering tangible rewards to help incentivise and retain staff. Gym membership, discounted travel and subsidised leisure activities, for example.

That’s why we’re offering you some tools to support a more attractive workplace environment.

£200 Amazon voucher with new contracts

For starters, for every new 24-month contract we sign by 31 October – even if the start date falls later in the year or even into 2020 – we’ll give you a £200 Amazon voucher.

The idea being you can then use it to buy your team a reward (music, books, gadgets, chocolate)  – or something to brighten up your workplace.

Free membership to reward programme

We’ll also give you a year’s free membership to the popular Take Time rewards programme, worth up to £60 per person. This is not just for you – it’s for every one of your employees too.

Take Time provides membership-only access to a huge range of offers and discounts for leisure, travel, entertainment and health and beauty activities – as well as money off at popular retail and food and drink outlets.

For example, current offers include a 25% saving on stays at Champneys, 38% off cinema tickets, a 3-course lunch at Malmaison for £19.95, 25% off at Kidzania, £12 afternoon tea specials at Mecure Hotels, 45% off Eurocamp holidays, 22% saving on Fitbit devices, £10 voucher for Majestic wine…

To find out more, and for a no-obligation quote for your business gas or electricity supply, call our team on 0800 622 6966.

We believe we can offer you a win/win deal that really will keep everyone happy...
